One (or More) for the Road...

I’m creaking like a rusty hinge,
Oh deary me, another drinking binge.
Drink it, down it, just for the night,
As tomorrow brings up bile that’s bright.
Goodbye dear kidneys, it’s really time,
Ten vodkas too many, my evil crime.
I give thee water, but now too late,
Bring it on, oh liver sclerosis fate.
The mouth of putridness, yes, this is I,
Too many licked carpets not enough sober pie.

Can't Cope

This life is feeling tired
Too much nonsense in here
Infinite baggage over acquired
A brain is bulging
All over the side

The balancing act
A daily routine
Mindful explosions don’t interact
A draining torment
Breaks down the slack

Head like a murky pond
No figure to speak of
A canyon replaces the useful bond
Crazy nervosa enters
Sanity has moved on

Apparent sleep lasts all day
Heavy limbs hibernate
Daylight is swapped for a lunar ray
Pallid enamel skin
Sunken eyes close once again

For Him, From Her
