Today
a day, just so long
It
drags a lifetime
In
a mind of wrongs
The
sound of beating overwhelms
Chemicals
are at the helm
When
did this man fade to grey
How
did it all slip by, so ashamed
A
simple moment is no longer free
Freedom
now a goal, not seen
A
meal, a touch, a helping hand
Makes
heavy weary pressures, unsound
Each
measly task holds its greedy fear
This
man’s head is a book
But
words are unclear
The
noose around his life, so tight
Each
idea is brave
Each
hour is a fight
